The dentures are the cheapest solution but less stable and resistant than other prostheses. With the mobile dentures we can cope with the absence of some teeth or with edentulous cases. The period of adaptation to the denture is much longer.
The fixed dentures are always the best lasting solution. If the patient suffers from the total absence of teeth and if it has sufficient bone mass then it is possible to place dental implants to the bone of the jaw. On the other side if the patient has some natural healthy teeth then patient can wear the partial denture which is placed on natural healthy tooth.
Combined works are among the aesthetic pinnacle of mobile prosthetics because they look very natural. This type of replacement is a combination of fixed metal-ceramic work (crowns or bridges) and prostheses. The fixed prosthetic restoration is cemented to the remaining abutment teeth, provided they are healthy and firm in the bone.
The prosthesis is connected to the fixed work with the help of hidden clasps. In this way, the prosthesis hooks are not visible when laughing or speaking, and excellent stability of the prosthesis is provided. The surface of the prosthesis can be reduced as much as possible.
The semi-fixed prostheses are placed to the natural teeth or dental implants when there is no possibility to place a sufficient number of implants.
